Scorpions are carnivorous arthropods that live in dry and stony areas.
The size ranges from 3 to 19cm and they have 4 pairs of legs. They do not live in groups but individually until they die. They are removed from their crypt only at the time they multiply. The female lays 25-30 eggs. The scorpion has a stinger on the abdomen.
